weekly uodate

Hi,

Hope you had a nice Memorial Day Weekend. Thank you all Vets and active members of the armed services either in our group or any of your family members. They work really hard and I can't give them enough kudos!

It has been one active week working out and in our big yard. Today I finished planting the garden and all the flower pots. I still have 2 plants to go but I have about 35 more feet of flower garden beds to weed. 2 years ago I broke my write and that ended the weeding that year. Then last year, I never got near to getting caught up because I was out of shape and it was hot. This year I have a plan and a schedule not matter the outside temperature.

Weekly Update

Another good week. I'm not losing weight but I am rearranging. I went every day this week to the Y  and I am feeling terrific. I find that I am more flexible and some of my aches are gone. I'm trying to watch what I am eating but the pounds are not coming off. Talk to you soon. j

Weekly Update

What a wonderful week. I did water aerobics 3 days, and strength training the other 2 days this week at the Y! I also help my Georgie paint the deck for 3 days. I feel great.

Yesterday, we decided to enter the 2013 world and got iphones. With all the newbies this week life is grand. I feel good and hope to do well for the rest of the Lighten Up In 2013. j

Fw: Weekly update

What a wonderful week. I made the cut by a very slim margin----but I made it. The best thing that happened to me.

Seeing as I won 3 months at the YMCA, I am taking full advantage of it. I don't know how to swim, ergo, I signed up for swim lessons. My first one was yesterday. I also signed up for water aerobics 3 times a week and that first one was also yesterday. Besides turning into a prune yesterday, I am extremely sore today. I'm also signed up with the Willoughby seniors for water aerobics through August . When the session at the Y ends, I will be at the Willoughby Pool (outside) at 8:15 am twice a week. If I don't work off anything, I might freeze it off if the summer is cool.

When I got home I worked in the yard for several hours, pulling weeds and bending and all.

I also signed up for strength training twice a week at the Y. 

We've go lots of yard work to do, so I am off. I love this weather. It brings out the life in me. I think deep down I'm a bear. That's why I store fat and hibernate in winter. I don't ever remember getting this much yard work done so early in the year but I love it. My thighs and waist need all the work outs they can get.

Talk to you soon. I need to make up blogging for missing on vacation. I did not take my computer. I rested and de-emailed myself for a week. Yikes, might not be able to do that again - ever.  j
