weekly report

Hi,

Thinking I was on the mend, I've developed Gout.  The good news is as soon as this flare up recedes I MUST EXERCISE! That is music to my ears. Also, I must watch my diet and many foods that I should not eat are the ones that cause flare ups. So, as badly as I felt having pain and learning the verdict - this will actually urge me to good modifications for life.  Talk to you next week. j

weekly report

Top of the morn' to all! I won't be goin' out this year!

I must be turning into an old fossil. Today I finally finished my medicine but still feel crappy.
To add insult to being out of wack all these weeks, I pulled something in my hip and can barely
walk on it. I'm trying to rest it - but I've lost more days of exercising. I'm hoping that next
Wednesday and Thursday, the first days of spring, I will break out of this winter funk and 'spring'
good health, action and loss on the scale. 'til next week, j

Hanging in there

Well another week has passed and I am in limbo! I am still wheezing and ailing so I went back to the ole doc and got more meds. This morning I finally seem to be on the mend for sure. I was a few more pounds down but between eating and medication, I gain 3 pounds back. I am hoping to get out and walk in the sunshine today and tomorrow. Doc says I should feel better by Wednesday... I can only hope. Then look out - I will be working hard to catch up for lost time. 'Til next week. jean

I'm on the mend

Hi,

Because I was dependent on Geo to cook last week, I put a few pounds back on that I lost. This week is much better but I'm still not as good as I should be. Hopefully tomorrow I'll be back on full track and working on my mission. This time it is twofold. We will be going to the mountians for a spring vacation and I would like to do some mountain trekking. With that in mind I have 6 to 7 weeks to build stamina to walk better and farther. Let's hope I keep on a schedule. Next week, jean
